Seabird Species Present:    Uʻau Kani or Wedged-Tailed Shearwater (Puffinus pacificus), various common shorebird species.
Threats:                               Golden Crown-beard (Verbesina encelioides), Lantana Camara, Koa Haole (Leucaena leucocephala), Passiflora spp., Cenchrus spp. And various other introduced grasses.

Management Goals and Objectives:

  1. Remove and eradicate Golden Crown-beard (Verbesina encelioides).
  2. Control other weeds and outplant native plants
  3. Monitor and inventory nesting seabirds
  4. Re-establish Ohai (Sesbania tomentosa) populations
